Congratulations for a very tough fight. Great TEAMWORK and the NEVER give up attitude were the factors in this weekends TCS Tournament victories. A great finish while battling not only the opposition but the heat. Congratulations on another 3rd place finish, GO PROWLERS

3RD Place Finish

Congratulations to another great finish in our biggest Tournament this year, the TCS Holiday Championship Toy Drive. Finishing up with a 4-2 record the Desert Prowlers clawed their way to the final 4 and finished 3rd. The story this tournaments was BATS, they came alive. GREAT Hitting ladies!! Get ready for 2009, the Prowlers have much more to come!!!

The Desert Prowlers competed for their second 3rd place finish in a USSSA Tournament. Congratulations to all the ladies for another job well done. Hard work does pay off, and we shall continue to work even harder. Again, GREAT job and team effort.

The Desert Prowlers opened the 2008-2009 season with a 3rd place finish at the initial USSSA Tournament. Congratulations to all the ladies for a job well done. This is the first step of many in the direction of a Tournament Championship.

This past weekend the Prowlers and Parents volunteered at the Valley of the Sun Half Marathon. Helping out Saturday with registration and then manning the 10 mile mark on Sunday during the running of the marathon.

Below is a letter the prowlers received from one of the runners:

Hello to the Desert Prowlers! You all were so kind to me yesterday as I finished the Valley of the Sun Half Marathon. Thank you for coming to get me, for bringing me flowers, and for all your kindness and hard work on such a beautiful Mesa day! I couldn't have asked for anything more except perhaps a new pair of feet! Special thanks to Jordan who sold me my fancy hat and defied her dad to come and walk with me. Thank you all so much again -- Desert Prowlers ROCK! :-)
